Renting a car is a convenient way to travel from Denver to Vail and gives you added flexibility if you’d like to explore beyond the Village during the weekend. That said, all wedding events and activities are within walking distance of Vail Village, so a car will not be necessary for the planned festivities.

Vail is located at approximately 8,000 feet above sea level. While altitude affects everyone differently, staying well-hydrated is key. If you experience difficulty acclimating, oxygen cans are available for purchase throughout the area, and many hotel spas offer oxygen bars.

The 10th is located at Mid Vail, on Vail Mountain. To get there you will need to ride Gondola One, which is in Vail Village. Upon arriving, please note there is a short gravel path to walk to the venue. For ladies wearing heels, we recommend opting for a block heel vs. a stiletto.
