We have a room block at Tivoli Lodge. Room rates will be between $289 and $319 a night. To book please use the link below or call&nbsp;970-476-5615 ext:0 and note you are part of the Buchanan/Tuohy&nbsp;Wedding. Ask for Donovan or Debbie to assist. For online booking, please select your check-in and check-out dates on the calendar. Note: You can still book a Sunday check-out, even if the date shows an “X.” The rate will be honored before and after the blocked dates, but you must call reservations in order to get the same rate.

Getting To Vail

We recommend flying into either Denver International Airport (DEN) or Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE). Vail is approximately a two-hour drive from Denver* and about 20 minutes from Eagle County Regional Airport. *Please note that I-70 can be unpredictable due to traffic, construction, and weather. Heavy mountain traffic is common on Friday afternoons, so we suggest arriving on Thursday or Friday morning when possible.

This is a shuttle company that offers transportation to and from Denver airport to Vail. For larger groups arriving at the same time, there is an option to book a van for 12. Our guests will receive 10% off. Please wait to book until our booking link is live. We will have an updated link soon.

Getting Around Vail

Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft are limited and often unreliable in the Vail area. Fortunately, getting around is very easy. If you are staying within Vail Village, most locations (including the gondola to our wedding venue), are within walking distance. In addition, a free shuttle bus runs regularly throughout the village (and all other base areas of the mountain), making it simple to hop on and off while exploring. The route is below, and the shuttles run on a continuous loop from 6:30am-1:30am daily. There are numerous stops throughout the village and they typically pickup at each stop every 5-10 minutes. A car is only necessary if you plan to explore outside of Vail Village. Within the village, you’ll find excellent hiking trails, restaurants, shops, and activities. Chophouse is a lively steakhouse in Lionshead Village with an outdoor patio and mountain views. If you're staying in Vail Village, take a quick complementary shuttle ride over to Lionshead Village.

Hiking

Vail Mountain offers incredible hiking trails during the summer, with peak wildflower season providing especially stunning views. Golf

Play golf at the nearby Vail Golf Club course, accessible via public transit and located in East Vail at the Vail Golf Club &amp; Nordic Center. This par-71, 136 slope course offers a combination of challenging, unique, and enjoyable holes amid a gorgeous mountainside backdrop. Explore The Base of Vail

There is a path that you can walk along at the base of the mountain from Vail Vaillage to Lionshead, or you can take the bus to different stops. Some of our favorite places:- Covered bridge in Vail Village- Kemo Sabe- Gorsuch flagship store- Find a path down to Gore creek- International Bridge/Solaris Plaza- Vail Brewing Company- A drink at the Four Seasons patio overlooking the pool- Hop on a bus to check out Lionshead Village- Picnic on the lawn by one of the gondolas- Red Lion

Mountain Biking

Vail is known for it's Mountain biking and it's a great way experience all the views of aspen glades, wildflowers and the Gore Range. Mountainside pickup at Centennial Express Lift, is offered daily and rentals are offered in the village

Sunday Farmers Market

Those those sticking around through Sunday after the wedding, we highly recommend seeing Vail’s farmers’ market. The village streets fill with local vendors offering everything from fresh-baked pies and local peaches, to handcrafted art, pottery, and paintings by local artists.
